This notice explains how TIVRA Solutions (Pvt) Ltd collects and uses information submitted through TIVRA Journeys. It supports transparent handling of personal data under applicable Sri Lankan requirements.
Information we collect
Traveller enquiries may include your name, email, telephone or WhatsApp number, country, intended travel month, number of travellers, interests and information you choose to include. Partner applications may additionally include a business name, service category, website or social page and information about the service. Extended enquiry details can include nationality, travel dates, children’s ages, airports, accommodation, transport, budget and special requests. Partner details can include facilities, capacities, licences, safety information, rates and photo album links. Partner rates and review statuses are kept in the private administration area. Please share only information and photos you are authorised to provide.
Why we use it
We use submitted information to respond to enquiries, understand requested travel services, evaluate potential business partners, maintain enquiry records, prevent misuse and improve our service. We do not use the forms to collect card or bank details.
Sharing and international processing
Information is accessible only to people and service providers who need it for website operation and enquiry handling. If a future travel request requires sharing information with a potential provider, TIVRA should first explain the intended sharing or obtain appropriate permission. Website infrastructure may process or store data outside Sri Lanka subject to applicable safeguards.
Retention and security
We retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably required for the stated purpose, record keeping, dispute prevention and applicable legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, although no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete information you submitted, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Some information may be retained where legally required. Contact info@tivra.lk with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.
Children and sensitive information
The forms are intended for adults. Please do not submit passport details, payment information, medical records or other sensitive information through the general enquiry fields.
